What You’ll Do

• Perform and document initial patient assessments and set priorities based on patient needs and symptoms.
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress, trends, and when interventions are needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in line with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Make nursing decisions based on patient information and modify the plan of care as outcomes evolve.
• Participate in patient/significant other education and support discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely clinical interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Perform Point of Care testing as required for the unit and patient population.

What You NeedRequired

• Current New Mexico RN licenseorcurrent Compact state license
• BLS Certification from AHA
• ACLS Certification from AHA
• TNCC Certification
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing

Preferred

• Prior critical care experience (details not specified in the posting)
• Comfort communicating clearly with patients/families across developmental needs (critical care setting experience preferred)
