• Current RN license for New Mexico or a valid Compact state license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proven ability to coordinate and implement patient care accurately and efficiently
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills tailored to patient needs and diverse healthcare teams
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in PACU or surgical recovery units
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Certification in advanced life support or perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR, ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• 2+ years of relevant RN experience, particularly in PACU or recovery settings
• Demonstrated competence in patient assessment, care planning, and monitoring post-surgical patients
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and in floating across different surgical service areas

Other Requirements

• Availability for 4 x 10-hour rotating day shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Inclusion of 2 weekends per month, with Saturday and Sunday shifts
• One night call per week, with additional weekend call as required
• Floating within surgical services to meet department needs
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical locations as assigned
• Valid licensure, certifications, and adherence to dress code standards (Graphite Grey Scrubs)
