Job Description

51605 - Travel: RN - PMC - Operating Room/Surgery - DAYSAre you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an engaging opportunity in a dynamic surgical environment? Join our team and make a meaningful difference in patient care while advancing your nursing career. This full-time travel position at PMC offers a vital role in providing specialized surgical nursing services during dayshift hours, with the flexibility to float to the main campus as needed. Be part of a supportive team committed to excellence and patient safety in a fast-paced, multi-location setting.Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license in New Mexico or a current Compact state license.
  • BLS Certification through the AHA.
  • ACLS Certification through the AHA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room or surgical nursing preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide independent, competent nursing care in a clinical setting.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing specialties.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership within a clinical team.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to patient and family education.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience in surgical or perioperative nursing.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to float to the main campus or other locations based on staffing needs.
  • Availability to work scheduled days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements, though optional call and case finishing expectations may apply.
  • Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification support included.
