What Youll Do

Provide independent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Care for patients with conditions ranging from clinic-level needs to strokes, STEMIs, major trauma, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatric concerns, and behavioral health needs.
Administer medications and treatments according to appropriate protocols while monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
Assess and address patients psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers while identifying learning needs, concerns, and available resources.
Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to support safe and effective care delivery.

What You NeedRequired:

Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association
Current TNCC certification
At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a Level I, II, or III trauma setting

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Experience in a related nursing specialty
Demonstrated ability to manage complex and changing clinical situations
