We are currently seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Security Guard to provide asset protection and retail security at a high-end retail location. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors while protecting valuable merchandise and property.

Position Summary:
The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a visible presence on the retail floor, monitoring for suspicious activity, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety and security of all individuals within the premises. The ideal candidate will possess excellent situational awareness, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor consistent with a luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a strong visual security presence to deter theft and ensure customer safety

• Monitor store entrances, exits, and key areas for suspicious behavior or unauthorized activity

• Conduct routine patrols of the sales floor, stock rooms, and surrounding property

• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations in a calm and professional manner

• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement when necessary

• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and logs

• Enforce store policies and procedures, including access control and safety regulations

• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a discreet but assertive security posture

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid security license or guard card (if required by state/local law)

• Prior experience in retail security or asset protection preferred, especially in high-end or luxury environments

• Professional appearance and demeanor; must wear suit and tie as required by client

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to remain alert, composed, and observant during extended periods

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $15
