Job Description

Offering a $5,000 bonus!Location: MCI NorfolkSchedule: Per Diem. 5:00am-1:00pm. 8-16 hoursPay rate: $35.00-$40.00/hour. No mandating weekend shift differential of $10.00 per hour.Benefits:

Qualifications:

Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RNMust have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.DOC experience preferred.

The Nurse is responsible for:

Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) ProgramTriaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use DisorderControl, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
