Job Title: Clinical Psychologist – Federal Contract (Travis AFB, CA)Location: David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CaliforniaContract Length: 3-Year Federal Contract | Ends 08/31/2027Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Possible On-CallPay Rate: $92–$99 per hour
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team at David Grant Medical Center, supporting the mental health and wellness of our military community. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve those who serve, providing high-quality psychological care in a unique federal healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state or territory.
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in crisis response/brief interventions.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
Deliver evidence-based individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
Consult and collaborate with medical staff, military leadership, legal authorities, and school personnel as needed.
Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation.
Engage in clinical investigations and applied research in behavioral health psychology.
Participate in specialized military training related to PTSD, combat stress, and deployment health screenings.
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 5–8 patients.
Possible telework option at the discretion of leadership.
