Now Hiring for Pacific Rail Services working at St. Louis Rail Terminal!

Are you ready to launch a stable career in the rail industry? Join Pacific Rail Services working at the BNSF St. Louis Rail Terminal! We’re hiring for an entry-level position that combines Hostler Driver and Ground Person duties. We provide on-the-job training—you’ll learn everything you need to succeed!

What You’ll Do:

Operate jockey trucks to move 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
Perform ground duties like climbing on/off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBCs).
Assist crane operators and side loaders using hand signals for safe loading/unloading.
Stack/unstack chassis and manage chassis racks.
Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Starting Pay:

$20.00/hr with no experience.
Higher starting rate available for experienced jockey drivers.

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours).
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM (10 hours).

Qualifications:

No experience required!
Valid driver’s license.
Pass a drug test and physical capabilities test.
Strong communication skills.
No diploma or GED required.

Applicants must live within 45 minutes of St. Louis. Out-of-area candidates or those needing relocation will not be considered.

This position is a great fit for individuals with experience in warehouse work, delivery driving, forklift operation, outdoor labor, landscaping, or rail yard operations.You will be employed by Pacific Rail Services, not the railroad.
