Elementary School Math & ELA Tutor, Grades 3-5 - Clayton County. New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire Elementary School Math & ELA Tutors. Job Description (Required): This is a face-to-face opportunity only. Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using a variety of curriculum resources. You will use student data to differentiate math and ELA instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed. Tutors must have a minimum of 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s). Tutors should be available after school and on weekends. Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check. Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided. You must be prepared to navigate varying technology, both hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. You must have a proactive approach to work to complete deliverables on time and maintain a proper work-life balance.
