Job Overview:
Our growing construction company is looking for a dependable Part-Time Construction Helper to join our team. We are looking for someone with general construction knowledge, previous jobsite experience, and a strong willingness to learn.
The right candidate should be hardworking, teachable, reliable, and able to work well with a crew. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants part-time work, enjoys hands-on construction, and wants to continue building their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters, crew leaders, and supervisors with daily jobsite tasks.
- Load, unload, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Help with remodeling, framing, demolition, repairs, punch-out work, and general construction tasks.
- Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized.
- Stage tools and materials for the workday.
- Follow directions and work safely around tools, equipment, ladders, and other trades.
- Learn new construction skills as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous jobsite experience preferred.
- General knowledge of construction tools, methods, materials, and equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work.
Schedule and Pay:
- Part-time position.
- Day shift.
- Weekday availability preferred.
- Work location varies by jobsite.
- Pay based on experience, reliability, and skill level.
