Schedule

🕒 School Hours: 8:05 AM – 2:20 PM

📍 Location: Piscataway, NJ 08854

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

✔️ Providing speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders✔️ Conducting evaluations, observations, and standardized assessments✔️ Developing goals and objectives for Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)✔️ Writing formal evaluation reports within required timelines✔️ Delivering direct therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings✔️ Providing consultative services to teachers, parents, and school staff✔️ Participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions✔️ Supporting students with articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, auditory processing, dysphagia, and pragmatic language needs✔️ Assisting with recommendations for specialized materials and equipment when needed

Qualifications

✅ Active Speech/Language Therapist License and Certifications✅ Previous school-based experience preferred✅ Experience developing and implementing IEP goals✅ Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills✅ Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
