Software Engineer Location: St. Louis, MO Hourly rate: $68.00 - $73.00 Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Position Responsibilities: • Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements. • Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements. • Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. • Supports fabrication technicians and suppliers’ questions during build and fabrication process • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies. • Supports hands-on troubleshooting of test racks • Perform acceptance test procedures to demonstrate conformance to design and document results • Develop and maintain scripts used to run test functions using C and C++ • Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs • Potential for infrequent travel domestic or abroad • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. • 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR Masters Degree Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong foundation in C, C++, and python • Siemens Capital Experience Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
