Job Description

Job Role: Wire Design & Install Engineer Location: Renton, WA (Onsite) Duration: 6+ MonthsPay Range: $70- 75/hr on W2

Introduction

This position involves developing and maintaining cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs, as well as electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs such as equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antennas. The role requires providing engineering design disposition on discrepancies, documenting processes, and participating in technical reviews of supplier capabilities. The work is conducted under general direction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Catia v5
Experience with 3D modeling
Some experience with wire routing design
5 years of relevant experience
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Additional relevant certifications or training
Experience with electrical commodity design and manufacture
Experience with technical review of supplier capabilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cable/wire harness designs
Analyze design results and perform design reviews
Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies
Document processes, specifications, and procedures
Participate in technical review of supplier capabilities
