Job Description: We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Virtual Monitor Tech for a 13-week contract position in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a vital part in patient safety by remotely monitoring patients using video surveillance technology, ensuring quick responses to potential fall risks and changes in patient behavior during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor multiple patients remotely through video technology to identify and alert clinical staff to any unusual or unsafe behavior.
Accurately document observations and report relevant information in a timely manner.
Communicate clearly and effectively with on-site clinical teams to ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
Use critical thinking skills to determine appropriate actions and escalate concerns when necessary.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and hospital privacy standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Monitor Tech, Virtual Observer, or similar healthcare role.
High school diploma or equivalent (CNA or other clinical certification preferred).
Familiarity with virtual monitoring systems and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently on night shifts in a quiet, focused environment.
