Position Overview: Delighted to Doula Postpartum Services is seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team of Postpartum Doulas. Our organization is committed to providing essential support to families during the postpartum period, ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact within the community, even if you do not have prior experience, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the importance of spotting symptoms that may cause a morbidity or mortality.
Provide emotional, physical, and informational support to families during the postpartum period, typically within the first few days after childbirth.
Offer guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and other relevant topics.
Assist with light household tasks, meal preparation, and other non-medical responsibilities to help ease the family's transition.
Foster a nurturing and empathetic environment that helps alleviate the stress and challenges of early parenthood.
Listen actively to families' concerns and provide non-judgmental and compassionate support.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each family.

Qualifications:

Minimum age of 18 years.
No previous experience required; comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
A passion for working with families in the postpartum period and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the community.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish a trusting and supportive relationship with diverse families.
Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental attitude.
Respect for cultural diversity and a commitment to providing inclusive and equitable care.
Reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule to accommodate families' needs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
