Job Description

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our growing software development team and build out the next generation of our platform. The ideal candidate is a passionate self-motivated individual with the ability to learn new technologies quickly. We will consider candidates with a wide range of skill sets and experience levels (junior and above). They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.

Our Company:

Preventia is a startup that specializes in telehealth network technology, located in downtown Indianapolis. We created a cross platform mobile app to allow users to connect to providers. We developed a web-based provider care platform to allow providers to manage their clients and connect with them. We are a small development team that utilizes an agile software development lifecycle. We have a flexible work environment with a mixture of remote work and in office hours.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, executive leadership team, and other developers to achieve elegant solutions.
Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
Test software development methodology in an agile environment.

Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work alongside other software developers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

Requirements:

Self-motivated quick learner capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
We are looking for someone with 0-5 years of experience in software development.

Desired Skills: (Not required)

Experience with modern programming languages like JavaScript, C#, etc.
Experience with building RESTful/CRUD APIs and services using REST, etc.
Experience with modern NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
Experience with mobile development like IOS, Android, React Native, Vue Native, Xamarin.
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with cloud native applications in Azure, AWS, etc.
Experience with HIPAA secure health-care applications
Experience with DevOps automation for building and deploying code with cloud deployment technologies like azure dev ops, github actions, Jenkins.

Mobile Frontend: C# .Net, Xamarin

Other: Azure Cloud Services, Github, Github Actions, Shopify, Stripe, Twilio
