• Before diving into the basics, understand advanced concepts related to Ermi's products and services.
• Gain preliminary practical skills in handling and understanding Ermi devices.

Tasks:

1. Research and Training:

• • Learn about the Flexionater Plus Devices and Internal Rotation Kit.
  • Understand the basics of marketing strategies, routing, planning, and conducting in-services.

2. Salesforce Proficiency:

• • Familiarity with detailed aspects of Salesforce, including advanced functionalities.
  • Start basic training on converting processes from other systems to Salesforce.

3. Device Certification:

• • Basic training on setting up devices, fitting a patient, and repacking devices.
  • Observe device functionality and common troubleshooting scenarios.

Part 2: Ermi 101 - Main Training Phase

Duration: July 15-19

Objectives:

• Provide comprehensive knowledge about all aspects of the company, suitable for sales staff.
• Equip interns with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective contribution to the team.

Tasks:

1. Company Induction and Product Knowledge:

• • This is an overview of the company's mission, product lines (including competitors), and terminology related to motion loss and injuries.
  • Detailed learning about Ermi devices and their interactions with clinicians.

2. Salesforce Integration:

• • Learn to create and manage reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
  • Convert at least one process from a non-Salesforce system to Salesforce under supervision.

3. Manufacturing and Warehouse Exposure:

• • Understand and participate in warehouse processes such as shipping, receiving, refurbishment, and quality control.
  • Learn about the requirements for setting up a new warehouse location.
  • Participate in ensuring manufacturing processes align with the Quality Management System.

4. Design and Prototyping:

• • Engage in product development teams to contribute to design improvements.
  • Hands-on prototyping of various devices like Cold Therapy, Shoulder Flexionater Plus, etc.
  • Work alongside Ed Dittmar to understand shop equipment and part fabrication.

5. Quality Management:

• • Gain a basic understanding of the Quality Management System.
  • Assist in auditing and ensuring R&D processes are appropriately documented and adhered to.

6. Clinical Studies and RKT:

• • Optional involvement in clinical studies or design updates for the Robotic Knee Testing device, if interested.

Expected Outcomes:

• Develop a robust understanding of Ermi's product lines and operational processes.
• Acquire practical skills in device handling, Salesforce operations, and primary manufacturing tasks.
• Enhance capabilities in product design and quality assurance.
