7Th/8Th Grade Science Teacher

We are hiring a dedicated and student-centered 7 & 8 grade Science Teacher to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering academic growth, nurturing the whole child, and creating a structured, engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional expectations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to continuous professional growth Preferred Attributes: Experience in an elementary classroom setting Knowledge of differentiated instruction and best practices in literacy and math Ability to build strong relationships with students and families This position requires enthusiasm, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to helping children grow academically and personally.
