Job Description
$10,000 New Hire Bonus (paid out over 2 years)ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision, assess client needs and function level.
- Provides individualized case management to clients.
- Make appropriate referrals. Provides some individual and group counseling and education and support to clients and families, skills training and outreach to client homes.
- Acts as liaison and provides consultation, education and information to community agencies that routinely come in contact with individuals with mental or emotional disturbances.
- Make diagnoses. Acts as program coordinator by assisting with program planning activities. Screens clients for program eligibility and conduct comprehensive evaluations resulting in a DSM IV diagnosis.
- Develops diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans for clients which includes delivery of appropriate services as defined in the detailed treatment plan.
Requirements:
- M.A. degree plus two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Provide individual, group and family counseling or equivalent experience
- Must hold appropriate CADC licensure or receive the credential/license within 36-months of application
- Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, behavioral, and addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and other related areas
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a criminal background check
