In this role, you'll be hands-on with machine electronics-designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting systems. Your work will span; AC and DC drives, PLCs and motion control, Sensor networks, and general electrical systems. How You Will Make an Impact:

Electrical:

  • Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCAD
  • Interpret mechanical design drawings and process for electrical requirements
  • Research supplier products for assembly components
  • Develop an electrical bill of materials
  • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications
  • Work with an electrical technician to commission systems
  • Full understanding of automation's effect on the process

Software:

  • Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications
  • Understand requirements for GUI/communication interface, networking and create specifications based on these requirements
  • Review, repair, and redesign legacy electronics
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems
  • Write user manuals to communicate the functionality of company-developed programs

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering, (Electrical or Computer Science) or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Design/Drafting Tools AutoCAD
  • Proficient with programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)
  • Configuring and designing HMI systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, EXOR)
  • AC & DC Drive configuration (e.g., Control technique, Siemens, Lenze)
  • Proficiency in Standards for Safety, Vision Systems, Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g., Yasakawa, FANUC, Kuka), thin client, data acquisition servers, and industrial networks.
