Job Description

Responsible for the installation, test and repair of marine cables and equipment. Installation and connection of lighting, electrical power, electronics and fiber equipment, utilizing hand and power tools and various test equipment along with blue prints, drawings and schematics.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

* MUST HAVE IN-DEPT KNOWLEDGE IN INSTALLATION, TESTING AND REPAIRING OF MARINE CABLES AND EQUIPMENT.

* MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS MARINE ELECTRICIAN

* WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF INSTALLING AND CONNECTION OF LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL POWER, ELECTRONICS AND FIBER EQUIPMENT

* MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH APPLICABLE COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND CODES.

* MUST HAVE COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE AT COMPONENT/SYSTEM START UP, TESTING, TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR.

* MUST BE ABLE TO READ MARINE BLUE PRINTS AND WORK FROM STANDARD AND METRIC SPECIFICATIONS

* MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM WORK * CONSECUTIVE/VERIFIABLE WORK HISTORY
