Job Description

HMP DME Services is looking to add multiple full-time DME Technicians/Drivers to our fantastic team in Blue Springs, MO.

Technician/Delivery Driver Requirements

Must be able to pass a criminal background check successfully (if you have a ever been convicted of felony, please don’t apply)
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
Must be over 21.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Be able to get a Class E (Chauffer’s license). This requires taking the written test for the CDL license at the DMV.
Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s card.

Technician/Delivery Driver Responsibilities

Follow all traffic laws and standard safety practices, including but not limited to daily safety/maintenance checks, securing equipment in the back of the truck after deliveries/ pickups and maintaining their hazmat cylinder count sheet
Must be able to read a map/GPS and know your way around the Greater Kansas City area
Be able to plan and make adjustments to your route based on orders given to you
Deliver and set up medical equipment to patients at home or in a nursing home.
Explain and instruct families how to operate equipment.
Troubleshoot and make minor repairs in the field as needed

Salary:

Starting at $18.00 - $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience

License:

Chauffer’s license – Class E (just a test at your local DMV)
Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Card.
