Transportation Driver

Our Transportation Drivers are full-time, year round opportunities. As a transport driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting cars and associated equipment, tools and materials to and from race and/or test venues for race related events. You will also provide support at the track for set up, tear down, tires and fueling. This position requires fluctuating weekday and weekend  work based on event schedules; home time will vary. When not driving for race or test events, our transport drivers work in the shop preparing transporter and equipment for upcoming events.

Who You Are

• Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks
• Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand and execute on established work procedures
• Team player: ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
• Experience operating a forklift, skid steer and snowplow; preferred
• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Must provide or be able to obtain a current Medical Examiner's Safety Certificate
• Must have a clean driving record 
• Professional Motorsports experience required; will consider other driving experience such as car hauler driving

What You'll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and general presentation of the transporter for the team and guests
  
• Inventory management of the transporter and equipment
  
• Follow all applicable DOT, DMV, State and Federal highway safety rules and regulations
  
• Meet schedules, timelines and deadlines appropriately and safely
  
• Ensure that all mobile pit equipment is stocked properly
  
• Ensure the truck is in safe operating condition
  
• Complete all logs and records in a timely manner
• Clean tires, trucks trailers, race cars and shop
• Load and unload trucks and trailers before and after event
• Provide support at the track for set up, tear down, tires, fuel, etc.
• Perform minor repairs
• General cleaning of building/shop area and outdoor maintenance
• Report work status and special problems to manager in a timely fashion
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, coworkers, and other departments
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
