Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Answer customer inquiries about parts, fill order requests, and sell parts across the counter.
- Issue parts to service personnel upon request.
- Ascertain make, year, and type of part needed. Advise customer of part needed according to description by customer or service technician.
- Discuss use and features of various parts.
- Read catalog, service manuals, or computer for replacement part stock number and price.
- Place orders with suppliers to fulfill customer requirements.
- Invoice orders upon completion.
Requirements
- Good communication, organization, time management, and mathematical skills.
- 2 Years Automotive or Forklift Parts Experience Required.
- Self Motivation is a plus
- Detail Oriented is essential
- Microsoft Office Experience required
- Desire to work hard and take care of the customer
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
