966 Operator

Purpose: Operates a 966 loader to move logs throughout woodyard. Unload trucks, stack logs on yard, and load logs onto manufacturing line. In charge of equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 966 loader to move logs throughout woodyard.
• Unload trucks, stack logs on yard, and load logs onto manufacturing line.
• In charge of equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and operation of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the team:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong record of ability to work as part of a team
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Proven safety and quality record.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous work experience in an industrial environment
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read schedules, customer orders, notices, safety instructions.
• Ability to complete reports
• Ability to verbally communicate problems/issues with co-workers and management.
• 966 loader work experience is preferred.
• Must be able to maintain a good attendance record and able to comply with attendance policy.
• Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be a self-directed worker, capable of working alone or in a team environment to solve problems and implement solutions.

Salary: $20.71/per hour
