Job Title: PHP Web Programmer Location: San Jose, CA, USA About the Role: We are looking for a skilled PHP Web Programmer to design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP, database integration, and front-end technologies to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies. Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to implement responsive user interfaces. Integrate applications with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Write secure, clean, and efficient code following best practices. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. Maintain and update existing web applications to ensure compatibility and usability. Develop and consume RESTful APIs for data exchange. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver timely solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in PHP web programming. Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with database design and development (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of secure coding practices and web standards. Preferred Skills: Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal). Knowledge of eCommerce platforms like Magento or WooCommerce. Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
