Job Description

Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Hygienist located in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Area. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing dentistry-related tasks such as hygiene, dental care, dental prophylaxis, and periodontal disease prevention. The Dental Hygienist will also be responsible for educating patients on proper dental hygiene, updating patient charts, and communicating with the rest of the dental team.Qualifications:

Dentistry and Dental Care skills
Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis skills
Periodontal Disease prevention skills
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to educate patients on proper dental hygiene
Proficient in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic
Experience working with pediatrics is a plus
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
State licensure in Dental Hygiene required

Work Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday- 8am-5pm
Wednesday- 1pm-6pm
Friday's -closed
