Job Description

Hello! We are seeking a patient, friendly, and creative Speech Language Pathology Assistant who loves working with children to welcome to our dedicate Superstar team! In this fulfilling position, you have the opportunity to provide treatment to each client to enhance their speech and language development in a warm, nurturing environment. You will collaborate with families and other professionals to create a fun and effective learning environment for each child.

Responsibilities:

Follow a treatment plan to address each client's specific needs
Provide direct treatment to clients and monitor their progress
Collaborate with team members
Communicate to parents and/or caregivers regarding their child's progress in each therapy session
Complete weekly lesson plans for each client
Document therapy sessions weekly in the electronic health records system
Stay current with the best practices in speech language pathology

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Have a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
Pass a criminal background check
