Job Description

A&P TECHNICIAN Job Summary: HQ Aero is currently recruiting for A&P TECHNICIANSin BRIDGEPORT, WV.Responsibilities: As a A&P Technician, you will be required to:

Perform general maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems. This may include troubleshooting, installations and removals, and inspections on the CRJ aircraft.
Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' work experience as an Aircraft Technician:
- MRO Experience is a plus.
- CRJ Aircraft experience is a plus.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years work experience as an Aircraft Technician.
- CRJ airframe OR Challenger airframe experience required.
- MRO experience is a plus.

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Job Type:

Full-time, Contract
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts |3 days on / 4 days off | 4 days on / 3 days off
Shift Hours: 6:30 till 7:00 (day or night) Must be willing to work either shift.
Overtime is available.
Travel Pay: $150 (if applicable)

Essential Job Functions

Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
Must be computer proficient.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
Work Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
