Simard Automotive (est. 1997) is hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Automotive Mechanic for our Fairbanks location.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician (A-Level) capable of:
- Advanced electrical diagnostics
- Check engine light diagnostics
- Drivability troubleshooting
- Engine and transmission repair
- HVAC diagnostics and repair
- Brake and suspension diagnostics
- Using scan tools, lab scopes, OEM service data
- Completing digital vehicle inspections (DVI) with clear documentation
This is not an entry-level or parts-swapping role. We are looking for a technician who tests before replacing and takes pride in zero comebacks. We prove our diagnostics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skillset
- Experience with OEM data systems (AllData, Mitchell, Identifix, etc.)
- ASE certifications preferred (not required)
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- High integrity and professionalism
