Team Member (Sbarro)

Position Summary:

As a Team Member at Sbarro, you are the face of the brand and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and quality food. This position includes preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive dining experience. Ideal candidates are reliable, friendly, and eager to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately take customer orders and operate the POS system.
• Prepare and serve menu items such as pizza, pasta, stromboli, salads, and beverages.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstations, counters, and dining area.
• Restock food, utensils, and supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and make accurate change.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Uphold all Sbarro brand standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Prior food service or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, lifting, and reaching.
