Job Description
Cooks Wanted! In this position you will be responsible for creating delicious sandwiches, have fun and keep a clean and organized kitchen environment.Responsibilities:
- Follow the sandwich prep list to plan and prepare ingredients for sandwich making.
- Label and stock all sandwich ingredients for easy access and organization.
- Measure and season ingredients to be used in sandwich preparation.
- Prepare sandwich ingredients by slicing, chopping, and assembling fillings.
- Assemble and prepare a variety of sandwich options according to customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Ensure all sandwich ingredients and supplies are stored properly and securely.
- Operate the Cash Register or perform other kitchen duties as assigned, such as washing dishes.
Skills:
- Proven experience in sandwich preparation or a similar kitchen position.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils with precision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and stay positive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Good physical condition and endurance to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
