Job Description

We are seeking a candidate with a background in automotive care, as well as experience in tire, oil and lube services. We are looking for an entry-level candidate who is interested in advancing their automotive career! General Service Technicians ensure that all customer vehicles are serviced properly, company procedures and policies are followed and every customer is treated with respect. Candidate must be able to provide exceptional customer service and possess technical aptitude relating to changing oil and performing minor vehicle maintenance for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform multi-point inspections
Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance including: Oil change, Changing battery, Headlight replacement, etc.
Assist in receiving stock inventory
Tire services: Tire replacement, tire rotations, tire balance, etc.
Maintain shop, office, and facility cleanliness
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Outgoing and positive attitude
Motivated, energetic, and customer-focused
Possess basic computer skills. Ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale system.
Exceptional customer service skills

Job Requirements

Must have a Valid Driver License
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
Must observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents dangerous fluids, chemicals tires, etc.
Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a definite plus
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
While on the job, employees must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc for extended periods of time
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Requires use of hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
