Job Description

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating new business opportunities, and earning uncapped commissions? We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to develop and expand client partnerships while delivering customized staffing and workforce solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and partnering with recruiters to deliver top talent. This is an outside sales position ideal for professionals who enjoy networking, prospecting, and building a book of business in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, research, and target prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, and market research.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activities to secure introductory meetings and generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Present staffing and workforce solutions to hiring managers, executives, and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate service agreements and staffing solutions that meet client needs while driving profitability.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the staffing engagement lifecycle.
  • Conduct client visits, business reviews, and workforce planning discussions.
  • Understand client hiring challenges and recommend customized staffing solutions.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, industry functions, and client entertainment activities.

Recruiting Partnership & Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to communicate client requirements and priorities.
  • Manage the job order process from intake through successful placement.
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to recruiting teams.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through consistent communication and follow-up.

Account Growth & Performance

  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline information within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed established sales, revenue, and growth objectives.
  • Continuously develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent sales, business development, or staffing experience will be considered.
  • 1+ years of business development, sales, recruiting, staffing, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and business development tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or professional services sales experience.
  • Experience selling contract, contract-to-hire, or direct-hire staffing solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in quota attainment and business development.
  • Experience building and managing a territory or book of business.
