Account Manager – Medical Billing | Remote · $80,000–$120,000 - 2552

About the Role: This role owns the client relationship for a healthcare company's medical billing accounts, serving as the main point of contact from onboarding through day-to-day account management. The Account Manager is responsible for keeping clients informed, resolving billing issues, and building the kind of trust that keeps accounts long-term. It's a people-first role that also demands real command of billing processes and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned medical billing clients
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent, responsive communication

Billing & Dispute Resolution

Manage client billing accounts and address issues as they arise
Handle disputes related to claims, applying IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) knowledge where relevant

Qualifications

Experience in medical billing required
People-oriented with strong client-facing communication skills
Familiarity with IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) a plus
