Job Description
Position Summary: The Accountant is responsible for performing accounting operations and ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and maintaining the general ledger.Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage general accounting operations and maintain accounting recordsPrepare financial statements to include preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, and sales reportsPrepare journal entries and conduct general ledger operationsPartner with other departments to ensure all transactions are correctly maintained within the general ledgerSupport monthly closing processComplete reconciliation of monthly closings and maintain balance sheet accountsParticipate in interim and year-end audit and preparation of schedules and documentationSupport SEC 10K/10Q external reportingSupport robotic automation and other digital technology finance initiativesProduce error-free accounting reports and present results to other members in accountingVerify, post, and reconcile transactionsComplete and/or assist with special projectsConduct ad hoc reporting as specified
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA preferred2+ years of experience in accounting2+ years of experience using accounting principles and practices/US GAAP

Comprehensive technical accounting skills; strong Excel skillsKnowledge of SAP S/4 Hana a plusKnowledge of Copilot and other automation tools a plusExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong planning and organizing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to take initiative on all accounting functions relevant to positionAbility to manage highly confidential informationAbility to work cross-functionally and support various areas of the businessAbility to communicate across all audiences with varying degrees of accounting knowledgeSome travel may be required
The base salary range for this role is: $69,100 to $103,700 annually.
