Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our established, multi-service law firm in our Palm Beach Gardens office. You will support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, and serve as a backup for payroll processing.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activity and month-end closePrepare accurate financial reports and analysis for firm leadershipAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance trackingEnsure compliance with GAAP and law firm accounting practicesServe as backup for payroll processing and support payroll operations as neededManage accounting and billing workflows within Aderant ExpertHandle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalismWork closely with and report to the Finance Manager

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience5+ years of legal industry experience, preferably at a mid-sized or large law firm3+ years of law office billing experienceProficiency in Aderant Expert (1+ year required)Strong knowledge of GAAP and law firm accounting practicesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsPayroll backup experienceFull-time, in-office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
