Job Overview

This position is based in Aiken, SC and is responsible for supporting costing and inventory-related accounting activities within a manufacturing environment. The role requires knowledge of cost accounting principles, manufacturing processes, US GAAP, and SAP best practices. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in joining a stable and successful organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly close and reporting process using SAP

• Classify and report production costs including material, labor, and overhead

• Support monthly variance analysis related to production costs and departmental expenses

• Assist with execution of annual physical inventories

• Reconcile cycle count discrepancies

• Support internal and external audit activities

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Manufacturing cost accounting experience

• SAP experience strongly preferred

• Strong analytical skills

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables
