Accounting Analyst

Join a dynamic law firm renowned for its operations in the tri-state area and Florida. We’re seeking a skilled professional to bolster our finance team, interfacing closely with the Accounting Manager. Initially, you'll receive comprehensive on-site training at our Long Island, NY office, transitioning to a flexible four-day in-office, one-day remote schedule.

Key Responsibilities: - Vendor Management: Efficiently manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with tax regulations. - Transaction Processing: Update the Aderant system with vendor invoices, oversee payment processing, and address payment inquiries and exceptions. - Financial Analysis: Contribute to monthly account analysis and prepare detailed schedules for various financial operations. - Revenue Management: Record and inspect wire transfers, deposits, and customer payments, resolving any discrepancies swiftly. - Trust Accounting: Administer escrow activities, maintaining updated records and reconciliations aligned with our firm’s policies. - Payroll Administration: Handle payroll input and review, serving as a backup for payroll execution. - Continuous Improvement: Support special projects, striving to enhance our accounting processes and efficiencies.

Experience and Skills: - Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. - Have a minimum of three years of comprehensive accounting expertise, with a solid grasp of established accounting principles. - Prior experience with Aderant, Chrome River, and/or Ceridian Dayforce is advantageous. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.

Working Environment: Embrace a hybrid work model with four days at our office and one day working remotely each week.

Compensation: Our salary range is competitive, from $75,000 to $95,000, reflecting your experience and skills, in accordance with applicable laws.
