We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst II/III/SR for our Houston, TX location.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the invoicing of our natural gas pipelines. Ensure accuracy of billing pipeline transactions based on the terms and conditions stated in our pipelines' Tariff and customer contracts. This includes analysis of system data, resolving contractual issues, gas management system issues and other tasks to complete the monthly close process.

Analyst will work closely with diverse internal groups, including Marketing, Customer Service, Contracts, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Gas Accounting. This position requires the ability to multitask, resolve issues, work independently, and assist with special projects as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

Prior pipeline experience with Invoicing/BillingUnderstanding of FERC tariff's3 plus years in Natural Gas IndustryExperience in accounting or analytical roleExperience in project design, analysis, testing and training for transactional systems

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
