Job Description
Accounting & Compliance AdministratorAutomation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounting and Compliance Administrator for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing daily financial operations while ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Pay Rate$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule and HoursPart-time position. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Accounting and Compliance Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records of daily transactions, invoices, income, and expenses.
- Managing payment processing, tracking incoming funds, conducting bank reconciliations, and sometimes assisting with payroll administration.
- Supporting internal and external audits, implementing internal controls, and ensuring processes follow GAAP, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collaborating with the finance team, documenting procedures, and performing general office administration duties.
Accounting and Compliance Administrator Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with financial and fiscal transactions, process analysis, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Highly skilled in collaboration, communication, teamwork, analysis, customer service, and problem resolution.
- Self-motivated; able to manage time to ensure completion of assigned tasks and/or projects.
- Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and internal staff.
