Job Description
Accounting & Tax Clerk Up to $800 WEEKLYJoin FIRST CHOICE: A SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:
- Process vendor invoices, monitor plant expense reports, and reconcile accounts for parts, materials, and facility operations
- Collect, organize, and prepare local, state, and federal tax data - including sales/use tax on industrial equipment, property taxes, and business licenses
- Enter daily financial transactions accurately into the plant's enterprise resource planning (ERP) or accounting software
- Perform routine reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and vendor statements
- Gather financial records, invoices, and tax exemption certificates to assist internal and external auditors
- High school diploma required
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred
- 1-3 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software
- High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and solid understanding of basic accounting principles
