Accounting Assistant

• Job Title: Accounting Assistant• Location: Kennesaw, GA• Pay: $21.00 per hour• Job Type: Temp, Full-Time• Shift: 1st shift flexible. 8 hour day, can start as early as 7am.

Accounting Assistant Description:

Duties and Requirements

• Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes and maintain accurate customer account records

• Perform light accounting and basic bookkeeping duties

• Enter daily deposits and update accounting records

• Send past due statements and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances

• Check credit references for new customer accounts

• Maintain organized accounting files and financial documentation

• Perform data entry and update accounting information in internal systems

• Assist with tracking payments and account balances

• Support general administrative and clerical office duties

• Prepare documents and reports for the accounting department

• Communicate with internal staff regarding account information when needed

• Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial records
