Key Responsibilities

This role will focus on processing Accounts Payable and maintaining Asset records across our companies.

Process various types of Accounts Payable transactions
Audit invoices against Purchase Orders and receivers
Review and reconcile vendor statements
Provide clerical support to the accounting department
Maintain vendor profiles and compliance
Process credit applications from new vendors
Work directly with internal departments to verify expense coding
Maintain Equipment files
Process equipment renewals/registration/mileage-hours updates
Manage fuel and toll accounts/credit cards
Work with Trucking Department to record GPS, Inspections & Maintenance records
File taxes associated with equipment usage

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Previous work experience in an accounting function
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations
Able to handle sensitive, confidential information
