Accounting Operations AssociateLocation: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days On-Site)Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)Salary: $80/90k DOE

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Associate to support its accounting team with day-to-day operational and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone with office, bookkeeping, or administrative experience who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets, and technology and is looking to build a long-term career in accounting.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. While prior accounting experience is a plus, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support the accounting team with daily operational tasks*
• Enter and maintain data in spreadsheets and internal systems*
• Organize and maintain accurate financial records and documentation*
• Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and data entry projects*
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies*
• Support special projects and administrative initiatives*
• Contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Office, bookkeeping, administrative, or accounting support experience preferred*
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office*
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills*
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology*
• Strong communication and teamwork skills*
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
