About the Role
We're looking for an Accounting & Tax Counsel who can operate across corporate, business, and personal tax matters. This is a hybrid role — you'll handle the company's tax and accounting needs while also being able to advise on personal tax matters where relevant.
What You'll Do
Manage corporate/business tax filings, compliance, and planning
Advise on personal tax matters as needed
Work with bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accurate tax positions
Liaise with external accountants/auditors where applicable
Identify tax planning opportunities across both business and personal contexts
Stay current on tax law changes affecting both business and individual filers
What We're Looking For
Experience spanning both corporate/business tax and personal tax — not just one or the other
CPA, tax attorney, or equivalent credential/experience preferred
Strong understanding of business entity structures and their tax implications
Comfortable advising leadership on both company and personal tax questions
Nice to Have
Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
Familiarity with multi-entity corporate structures, since IcyBox operates across multiple related entities.
Experience advising founders or executives on personal tax matters alongside business/corporate tax.
