We are a fast-growing design-build technology company in San Diego, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional to support our accounting and administrative operations.
The Role
This is a hands-on execution role responsible for keeping the financial and administrative engine of the company running day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Execution
  •  Process payroll (full cycle) 
  •  Manage accounts payable (vendor bills, payments) 
  •  Support accounts receivable and collections 
  •  Assist with invoicing and Requests for Payment (RFPs) 
  •  Process credit card payments 
Reconciliations & Accuracy
  •  Perform bank reconciliations 
  •  Reconcile credit cards and expense accounts 
  •  Track gas cards and company purchasing accounts 
  •  Ensure accurate job costing inputs (time and expenses) 
Cash & Commission Support
  •  Track incoming payments and collections 
  •  Support AR follow-ups 
  •  Assist in sales commission tracking (based on cash received) 
HR & Employee Support
  •  New hire onboarding (ADP, forms, setup) 
  •  Maintain employee records 
  •  Administer benefits (health insurance, 401k) 
  •  Process reimbursements 
Admin & Operations (Critical Support)
  •  Handle incoming calls and lead intake 
  •  Coordinate OSHA compliance tracking 
  •  Manage insurance certificates and lien releases 
  •  Oversee fleet administration: 
    •  Vehicle registrations 
    •  Insurance tracking 
    •  Smog compliance 
Ideal Candidate
  •  2–5 years in accounting/admin role 
  •  Experience with payroll, AP, and basic bookkeeping 
  •  Highly organized and detail-oriented 
  •  Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities 
  •  Strong follow-through and reliability
