• Responsibilities include various AP & AR tasks such as managing expense reports and reimbursements, managing non-capital assets, processing insurance claims, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Create and update expense reports
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare customer statements and follow up overdue payment
• Process in-transit report
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Maintain records for fixed assets and non-capital assets
• Process insurance claims
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Requirements

• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Compensation:The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
