Job Description

Accounting Clerk 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Accounting Clerk
 to support our Finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks for a company located in Katy, TX. This role plays an important part in keeping our financial operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly. If you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting a growing team, this could be a great fit.
Pay Rate: 
$20.00 - $25.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Accounting Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transaction
  •  Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transaction
  •  Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  •  Support general administrative tasks including emails, document preparation, and data entry
  •  Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  •  Assist with reconciling records and resolving basic discrepancies
  •  Support the accounting team with special projects as needed
    • Accounting Clerk Qualifications and Requirements:
  •  High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
  •  1–3 years of experience in an accounting, administrative, or clerical role
  •  Basic understanding of AP/AR processes
  •  Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  •  Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, and basic accounting systems (ERP experience a plus
  •  Clear written and verbal communication skills
  •  Reliable, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
