Job Description
We are hiring for a premier custom home builder and remodeler based in Bowie, MD, currently upgrading their software systems. We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Temporary Accounting Clerk to keep our daily accounts payable and receivable running seamlessly during this software transition. There is a realistic opportunity for this position to become a permanent role with solid performance!Not necessary, but If you know your way around Sage 300, that's a plus. Core Responsibilities
- Process AP Invoices: Pull accounts payable invoices directly into the TimberScan system.
- Manage AR Documentation: Print and organize required backup information from Sage 300 for accounts receivable billing.
- Direct Data Entry: Input both AR and AP invoices accurately into Sage 300.
- Department Support: Handle miscellaneous administrative and accounting tasks as needed to support the team.
- Software Expertise: Hands-on experience with Sage 300 and TimberScan is highly preferred.
- Industry Background: Prior experience working with a construction company, general contractor, or home builder is a major plus.
- Core Skills: High accuracy in data entry, strong organizational habits, and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Availability: Ready for an immediate start in a temporary, contract capacity.
